• The Department of Technology for Instruction, Intervention, and Assessment is committed to providing the technical infrastructure and instructional design supports that effectively prepare students for their future. We believe that technology is a venue through which students explore, discover, and cultivate the skills necessary to be successful in today’s technology-enriched world. Parallel to our students, Rose Tree Media teachers engage in professional learning opportunities and partner with instructional coaches to understand the transformational possibilities that integrating technology can bring.

21st Century Learning

  • Elementary 1:1 Device Information

The Elementary 1:1 Apple iPad initiative aims to empower our youngest students by creating a personalized, student-centered learning environment in grades 1 through 5. This 1:1 initiative provides all students with equal access to technology every day while in school and when instructionally needed, at home. With a consistent learning tool for all students, teachers possess the ability to integrate technology into daily learning activities in meaningful ways that increase student efficiency, productivity, engagement, motivation, and inspiration.

Kindergarten students have access to 10 iPads while in the classroom to leverage applications that effectively support creativity, collaboration, analysis, and problem-solving.
