About Indian Lane

  • Welcome to Indian Lane Elementary! At our school, students enjoy learning and are provided a safe and nurturing environment where teachers are dedicated and constantly looking for the best way to meet the needs of their students. Our school is a place where parents are committed to and supportive of the children and teachers.

Located in a residential neighborhood in Middletown Township, Indian Lane strives to provide students with the skills they need to be successful in our ever-changing world. Our academic program is designed to meet the needs of our students as they pursue life in the 21st century. Students are encouraged to expand their knowledge through the integration of technology at all levels of the learning process.

The basic curriculum at Indian Lane includes instruction in language arts, mathematics, science, social studies, art, library, music, and physical education. Our excellent music program offers vocal programs and instrumental music instruction. Recorder instruction begins in third grade for all students. Optional formal instrument lessons begin in fourth grade, with participation in band or orchestra. Fifth-grade students can participate in our chorus.

At Indian Lane, health and safety are our top priority. We have a full-time school nurse, a safe foods list, and protocols for a variety of emergency situations. We also practice safety drills regularly, including fire drills once per month.
