PHS History Day

The History Day Team is for aspiring historians that may choose to compete in the annual History Day Competition. Projects are created by participants in both team and individual formats. Members of the team may assist others who choose to compete in conducting research, design, and organization of projects. Projects that are deemed competition worthy will compete in the annual competition at the CCHS in Feb/March.

Intramural Sports

Intramurals are a way to have fun, get exercise, relieve stress, and meet new people! In our first season in many years we will begin with a variety of sports and have hopes to expand to more sports over the years. This year the intramural program will be limited to the first eight teams that complete all the registration requirements. We do have hopes of expanding the program in the future. The students will be able to register as a team or individually (not both). Those students who register individually will be placed on a team. The intramural program operates under our Physical Education but separate from the inter-scholastic competitive teams. All intramural sports this year will be coed and are recreational in nature. We are looking forward to this opportunity to get more students involved at our school and to see this program continue to grow.

JV Show

The Junior Variety show is a collection of talent acts, comedy skits, and group dances designed to celebrate the skills and talents of the Junior class, celebrate the things that make Penncrest and our staff and students unique, and raise money for the current 11th graders.

Reading Olympics

Students participate in a "book club" throughout the year. There are approximately 50 titles to choose from and you can select a few that interest you to read. We meet once a month for about 20 minutes after school. Following the year-long preparation, you will compete in a county-wide virtual competition in the spring.
