At Springton Lake Middle School, required and special area courses are conducted during a nine-day period. The curriculum includes instruction in language arts, mathematics, science, social studies, physical education, health, art, visual and graphic design, music, consumer science, STEM and media studies. Students are also scheduled for a world language (French or Spanish) or support services in reading or special education.

Report cards are issued four times a year, in November, February, April and June.
