Spirit Nights
Spirit Nights are a wonderful opportunity for our students and families to participate in an activity outside of school. These businesses provide up to 100% of the proceeds to benefit the school. Families may invite non-RTES friends to join in these events.

BoxTops
The Boxtops program is moving to a fully digital format. Currently, physical boxtops are still being accepted. Boxtops can be placed in a Ziploc bag and turned into the homeroom teacher or the main office. To participate in the digital program, simply download the Boxtops app, and scan your store receipt. Amazon Smile
Amazon donates 0.5% of the price of your eligible AmazonSmile purchases to RTES when you sign up for AmazonSmile. To sign up for AmazonSmile, visit smile.amazon.com and select Rose Tree Elementary School as your charitable organization. You will only need to sign up once to have all future eligible purchases result in a donation.

Gift card fundraising is a simple and effective way to raise money for our organization. Buy gift cards from your favorite brands to earn on your daily purchases. Gertrude Hawk Chocolates
RTES participates in the Gertrude Hawk seasonal brochure fundraiser program, a simple, delicious and profitable way to raise money for our school. The fundraiser takes place in the winter and/or spring.

Charleston Wrap
In October, students will bring home a packet of information including a catalog of items that can be ordered from Charleston Wrapping Paper. Orders will be taken through October and into November. Delivery of ordered items are scheduled to arrive prior to the December holidays.

Kidstuff Coupon Book
KidStuff Coupon books are packed with a ginormous collection of the best local and national coupons! In September, every student will bring home a KidStuff coupon book for parents to peruse. Additionally, KidStuff is offering a new Coupon App included with every book. These books may be purchased by the family or sent back to the school. Kidstuff coupon books bring in a 50% profit for our school!
PTG Events

Yearbook
Parents are encouraged to submit photos from school events throughout the year and are invited to participate on the yearbook committee to assemble pages for the classes/events. Information about how and when to order yearbooks will be sent home during the year.

Strawberry Festival
The Strawberry Festival is the school's largest annual fundraiser! It's a fun-filled afternoon of affordable family entertainment that celebrates community unity with a variety of exciting kid's games and prizes, music, and fantastic food. You can buy tickets in advance or at the door.

Muffins with Mum/Special Friend
A chance for our fabulous RTES students to share a morning treat of bagels, coffee, and juice before school starts with a favorite Adult Buddy.

Teacher Appreciation Week
Families will be invited to send in notes and flowers for their teacher, donate items for gift baskets, and/or provide food for a teacher luncheon. Parents may volunteer during the day to assist in the set-up, serving, and clean-up for the teacher luncheon.

Bingo Night
Families are invited to come to the cafeteria for a night of bingo, pizza, and candy. You can buy tickets in advance or at the door. Volunteers are needed to sell tickets and food. Volunteers may also consider donating raffle baskets for this event.

Rose Tree Revue
Each grade performs an act for the show under the direction of parent/teacher volunteers; students may sign up for individual or small group performances. Proceeds from concessions go toward raising money for an end-of-the-year recognition ceremony and other events to celebrate rising fifth graders. Volunteers are needed to direct each grade and for day of activities.

Winter Carnival
Families are invited for a night of games, fun and food. Coin Roll, Cat-A-Polt, crafting, face painting, baked goods, pizza, hot dogs. Win prizes! You can buy tickets in advance or at the door. Volunteers are needed to make this event happen. Volunteers work in shifts so you can spend time with your family as well!

Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service
This day of service honors the life and legacy of Martin Luther King Jr. Students will participate in activities that give back to the community. Activities are coordinated by the RTES and the PTG. Parent volunteers are needed to assist in the activities during the day. Additional support for helping to attain materials and deliver the day of service projects may be requested. For example, in past years a volunteer offered to deliver canned goods to the food bank.

Grandparents/Special Friend Day
An opportunity for grandparents or a favorite Adult Buddy to visit the classrooms and observe a typical day for their student and enjoy a few light treats. PM Kindergarten will have an afternoon start.
